Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara, a former Norwich City standout who’s attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs. The 25-year-old Brazilian has impressed in Turkey with his versatility and creativity, prompting City to consider him as part of their summer rebuild.

Sources suggest that Pep Guardiola is looking to refresh his midfield options, with veterans like Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva nearing the twilight of their careers. Sara, capable of playing as a six, eight, or ten, offers tactical flexibility and strong work ethic traits highly valued at the Etihad.

Wolves and Nottingham Forest are also said to be monitoring Sara’s situation, but City’s ability to offer Champions League football could give them the edge. Galatasaray is reluctant to sell, but the player is reportedly open to a move if the right opportunity arises.

Sara’s contract runs until 2029, and while no release clause has been confirmed, his estimated market value is around €22 million. With City aiming to dominate both domestically and in Europe, this could be a shrewd addition to Guardiola’s evolving squad.
